The pursuit ended when one armed suspect was killed and another was wounded. Jalisco has recently been the scene of intense gun battles between Los Zetas, and Valencia and Sinaloa criminal gangs for control of smuggling routes of contraband such as illegal drugs and illegal immigrants to the United States. |
