Iraqi cleric urges end to US meddling
2010-07-24
[Iran Press TV Latest] An Iraqi cleric has called on the US to end its intervention in Iraq's internal affairs and stop destabilizing the country with occupation.
We're working on it, pal. Do your part and help keep the lid on.
Sadr City's Friday Prayers Leader Seyyed Muhammad al-Musawi described US meddling in Iraq's internal affairs as the main reason behind the delay in the formation of a new government in the country. He added that the power vacuum caused by US interventions only has only resulted in more insecurity and despair in the country.

Musawi blamed the US for the violence across the country, accusing American troops of withholding important intelligence from Iraqi security forces.

"We have noticed that Americans have not supported Iraqi security forces with any intelligence, they have also shown no support when the violence was tense in the country," Musawi told thousands of Iraqis attending the prayers.
