Hamas slams UN for "collaboration with the Israeli occupier."
2010-07-25
Well, I'm sure that'll be quite a shock for them when they get in on Monday...
Hamas harshly criticized the UN on Saturday for an announcement made Friday which denounced the use of flotillas to break the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera reported. On Friday, UN spokesman Martin Nesirky responded to reports that a flotilla of two Lebanese ships was set to sail for Gaza, stating that those who wish to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza should do so by land and not attempt to break Israel's sea blockade of the territory. Hamas called these statements tantamount to "collaboration with the Israeli occupier."
You know what? Screw the ungrateful bastards! Call Ging and tell them to pack up all their stuff and get the hell out of there. 62 years of kissing their asses and this is the thanks we get. I've had it!
But...but...Mr. Moon!
HA! Had ya there for a minute, didn't I? Nah. Just handle it in the usual way.
Yes, sir. I'll add an extra truckload of Vaseline and kneepads to the next shipment.

Hamas harshly criticized the UN on Saturday for an announcement made Friday which denounced the use of flotillas to break the Israeli blockade of the Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera reported. "The UN call to international organizations to use the over-land road to Gaza instead of the sea is unacceptable and illegal," said Hamas Spokesman Sami Abu Zahri. He called on groups who are interested in delivering aid to Gaza to continue to do so by sea until the blockade of the territory is completely broken.
Meanwhile, we'll be hiding under our beds. And make sure you bring good stuff too. Like they got at the new mall. None of that expired shit. And be quick about it...
The Navy deployed ships at sea to stop the Lebanese boats which were scheduled to leave for Gaza from Tripoli sometime over the weekend. Defense Minister Ehud Barak called the planned Lebanese flotilla "an unnecessary provocation" on Friday, stating that the ships would be "stopped at sea" if they failed to heed Navy orders to dock at Ashdod Port rather than sailing directly for Gaza.

#4  You're probably right. He should just announce that Israel will do nothing but that they have subcontracted their coastal defence to North Korea.

#3  Alas OP, I'm not at all sure it would work out that way if Israel followed your advice.

#2  "Defense Minister Ehud Barak" needs to make a very plain statement to the world: any ship attempting to break the blockade of Gaza will be "met with overwhelming force and sunk". Then follow through. The problem will come to an abrupt halt the first time they do.

#1  a more accurate headline..

USA & EU slams UN for "collaboration with the Lebanese occupier - Hamas."
How they can ship in 40,000 new missiles with launchers and new fortifications under the ...um...er... "noses" of the UN solders stationed in Lebanon, is beyond me.
