| BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The United States of America will not involve itself in forming a national salvation government in Iraq, said Izat al-Shabandar, a leading figure of the Dawlat al-Qanoon Alliance. “The U.S. is currently concentrating on withdrawing from Iraq in the best way,” al-Shabandar told Aswat al-Iraq news agency on Saturday. He noted that the U.S. can be more active by pressing on Iraqi political blocs rather than forming a national rescue government. |
