In short: Lib-hawks (who were a force in the Dem party ten years ago) don't want to disavow force against Iran; lib-doves do.The Obama administration will have to decide to either let Iran go nuke or stop it with force. The currently-quiet fault lines in the liberal coalition of hawks and doves will open up regardless.

#1  As if there is a snowball's chance in hell that Obama would actually do anything. Based on his past performance, anyone who thinks that Obama will do anything more than talk is smoking something really, really strong.
