2010-09-23
[Bangla Daily Star] A leader of outlawed Biplobi Communist Party (BCP) was killed in a 'shootout' with the law enforcers in Harinakunda upazila of Jhenidah early yesterday.
"Youse'll never take me alive, coppers!"
[BANG!]
"Rosebud!"

The deceased was identified as Mozam Sardar, 32, son of Baburali Sardar of Pultadanga Taherhuda village in Harinakunda.
"Mozam Sardar, y'say? Yer sure he's dead?"
Jahangir Alam, officer-in-charge (OC) of Harinakunda Police Station, said a joint force of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) and Harinakunda police raided a field of Gopinathpur village on information that eight to ten members of the outlawed party were gathered for a clandestine meeting at 3:00am.
"Boss! It's 3 a.m.! Couldn't we hold our meeting after dinner or somethin'?"
"Shuddup, comrade!"

The outlaws, sensing their presence,
"My spider sense!"
"Again? What is it this time?"

opened fire on the law enforcers forcing them to retaliate, said Jahangir Alam.
"Sergeant Rafiq! Have the men [BANG! BANG! BANGETY BANG!] open [KAPOW! ZING!] fire!"
Mozam Sardar was found dead on the spot after the gunfight, although his acomplices managed to flee, the OC said.
"Where'd they all go, chief?"
"I dunno, Sergeant Rafiq! Disappeared! It's like they were never there!"

Deceased Mozam Sardar was accused of five cases including murder, abduction and robbery.
"He had the death sentence on... ummm... five systems."
Police recovered two light sabers guns and seven bullets from the spot.
"Don't touch those bullets! You don't know where they've been! Now, go wash your hands!"
The victim's body was sent to Jhenidah Sadar Hospital morgue for his appointment with Dr. Quincy.
