Hippie threatens McCain, gets tackled. |
2010-09-27 |
![]() ( Phoenix) - Tense moments for Arizona shoo-in John McCain after a media op on Sunday night. As McCain was leaving, a fossilized 60s throwback waving a sign jumped in front of him yelping like a chihuahua (or maybe a Pomeranian). A really big guy on the Senator's security team tackled the androgynous agitator to the ground, where she(?) kept barking and howling to the camera. She was among a group of peace tools upset about McCain's opposition to a surrender in Iraq and Afghanistan. Sunday nights debate was the only televised meeting between the Senate candidates ahead of Election Day. Well, that was stoopid. And pointless. |

#9 I like her shirt. "Do I look undocumented?" No, hon, you don't. I'm sure there's paperwork on you in some Arizona state hospital. Gotta feeling there'll be more. Probably around November... |

#6 Dirty, stinky, hippies. They say they want to save the planet. But all they ever do is smoke pot and smell bad. |

#5 In the 1990's the Internet - specifically the 'web' - hadn't caught on with mainstream Americans yet. The MSM still had an almost lock on the information stream - and were trusted with it. |

#4 Still chuckling. The very least that can be said is, well, an American is trying to have their views heard. It is a start towards being American. A few short years ago,(1990s) the apathy in this country was so widespread, as in many people didn't even pick up a newspaper and Bill was out getting diddled. The moral hazard was that things were too placid. I think the battle lines have been drawn, and more people are reading news and being political, which is good for the country in the long term, even if we don't always agree. |

#3 It's projected self hate. They hate their sex, and they project it onto other things like hating their country. |

#1 that was a pretty good takedown. Hippie punching isn't against the law in AZ, is it? |
