#7 The local unions have been doing this for years; they gather them up at the local Homeless shelter so they can march in front of some business not using union personnel for a project. I suspect they are not paid union scale... |

#3 1. Can we not use the inflammatory word "scabs"? Scabs only get inflamed if you keep picking at them. As for unions hiring non-union labor, 1) it makes economic sense 2) it confirms my belief that irony is the fundamental building block of the universe. 3) someone is missing an opportunity to organize workers. Imagine: a union of non-unionized workers. see point 2. |
