Obama wants vets to get another $250 check
2010-10-19
Stuff the money! I've already voted absentee, and not a single mark for a democrat. Your malodorous, Chicago Ward Boss style of politics diminishes the office of the president and unmasks you for the jackwagon you are. Come quickly 1/20/2013.

#11  If you're a vet getting VA compensation you will actually take a hit on your tax return next year b/c of your $250 check. I'm an OIF Vet and I get VA comp for hearing loss and some damaged joints. I got the $250 last time they tried to buy my vote (it didn't work). This past year I noticed my tax return was lower than anticipated, and made a visit to my CPA to find out why. He said that since I'd received the $250 along with full VA Comp for that month the $250 had to come back out of my tax return. Bascially, they're buying votes and then taking the money back at tax time (it almost makes me lagh as I'm typing). If this isn't indicative of how these people operate I don't know what is!

#4  I'm a Senior, I'll gladly take the small bit of stolen cash refund, but it is suc a small bit (In relation to what he's stolen)and Nowhere near enough to vote for him.
Start at one million tax free and go up from there, then I Might?(Per person of course)
and NO zimbob bucks, got ten million already.

#3  buying votes with YOUR money. Tells you what he thinks of seniors that they will motivate and vote for $250

#2  Very misleading headline.

Like the payouts that were delivered in 2009, this round of economic recovery payments would sent $250 checks to all seniors receiving Social Security, including about 2 million veterans.

Retired Milkman Magazine could write it up as "Obama wants retired milkmen to get another $250 check".

#1  Misleading title. IIUC, only vets who are social security eligible will get the $.
