A total of nineteen individuals were murdered in various crimes in nethern Mexican states Tuesday, Wedensday and Thursday in violence that included a man shot to death in an exclusive neighborhood in Juarez,

  • An unidentified man were shot to death in their home in Juarez Tuesday night, according to Mexican news accounts. The shooting took place on calle Camino Senecu in the exclusive Rincones Campestre district where armed suspects entered a residence and shot the victim.

  • An unidentified woman was found shot to death and beheaded in Juarez late Tuesday night. The victim was found near the intersection of calles Cañaveral and Centeno in the El Granjero district.

  • An unidentified couple were shot to death in Juarez Tuesday morning, according to Mexican news reports. The assault began near the corner of calles Aeronautica and Mercado de Abastos when armed suspects attacked the occupants of a Pontiac Grand Prix at about 1700 hrs.

  • Two unidentified men were shot to death in two separate crimes in Juarez Wednesday, according to the Mexican daily La Polaka. Near the corner of calles Pablo Sidar and Rafael Velarde in the Chaveña district was where a man was shot aboard his Dodge Ram pickup truck. In the second crime a man was shot near the intersection of calles Plomo and Articulo 123 in the Aldama district by several unidentified armed suspects.

  • Two unidentified men were shot to death near a nightclub in Juarez Tuesday night, according to Mexican news accounts. The attack took place as the two victims were riding aboard a Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck and were shot near the intersection of avenidas Ejercito Nacional and Gomez Morin near the nightclub Valentines. At the scene were 28 spent shell casings for AK-47 assault rifles.

  • An unidentified woman was shot to death and her companion was wounded in Juarez Thursday, say Mexican news accounts. The attack took place near the corner of bulevars Independencia and Talamas Camandari where armed suspects shot the victims as they were riding aboard their Ford Focus sedan. Reports say 17 9mm spent shell casings were found at the scene.

  • Seven individuals were murdered in the Mexican state of Sonora in three separate crimes Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the Mexican dailyEl Imparcial. In Navajoa, three unidentified men were found shot to death and a fourth man was found wounded in an abandoned Cadillac limousine near the Ejido March 21st. The victims had been shot by armed suspects as they changed a flat tire. In Ciudad Obregon, Joaquin Beltran Rubio, 49, and his son Joaquin Beltran Alberto Mendivil, 24, were found beaten to death aboard a Ford Expedition SUV near the corner of calles Puebla and Hidalgo in the Centro district. State agents later found one of the vehicles used by the suspects in the murders in Ciudad Obregon near the intersection of calles Chiapas and Cajeme, burned out with several weapons magazines and ammunition aboard. In the third crime, authorities only revealed two individuals were found shot to death in Nogalas.

  • An unidentified man was found shot to death in his car in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, according to Mexican press accounts. The victim was found near the corner of calles Durango and Hidalgo in the Centro district near his Chevrolet sedan with numerous spent shell casings about, some from AK-47 assault rifles.

  • An unidentified woman in her 30s was found dead in Torreon, Coahuila Tuesday, say Mexican news accounts. The victim was found in Villas Universidad district on carretera Santa Fe hidden in bushes and in an advanced state of decomposition. Reports do not indicate how she died.

  • One man was shot to death and his brother was wounded in a shooting near a bar in Torreon, Coahuila Tuesday, say Mexican news accounts. Salvador de la Cruz Ruiz was shot several times in the back near the intersection of Avenida Presidente Carranza And Calle Juan Antonio de la Fuente in front of the bar Los Pinos. Cruz Ruiz was released from the Durango CERESO three months ago after serving a sentence for extortion. He is the third individual murdered in two weeks in the La Laguna area who had recently finished serving time in prison.
