| Yemenis' Fate at Guantanamo Bay Prison Put into Question |

| [Yemen Post] Human rights busybodies revealed on Monday that the fate of 57 of Yemen's citizens who remain nabbed at the US-run prison at Guantanamo Bay has been largely put into question, something they said it was even less likely that the men would be released in the near future. A US official was quoted as saying that the release of Yemeni detainees was by far the difficult problem the US had. He further said that the new Al-Qaeda's suspect plot was harming news for the Yemeni Guantanamo inmates who now appear less likely than ever to be released in the near future. Last week, two parcels sent from Yemen were addressed to Jewish institutions in Chicago and containing the lethal explosive PETN hidden in ink toner cartridges were uncovered on cargo planes en route to the United States in Britain and Dubai. |
