[Pak Daily Times] Four civilians were maimed on Sunday when a hand grenade hurled at a security force vehicle in Indian-held Kashmire (IHK) missed its target and hit a private car, police said. The attack took place in Bijbehara town, about 45 kilometres south of the IHK summer capital Srinagar, a police front man said. "Terrorists hurled a grenade at a moving security force vehicle but it missed its intended target and hit a private car," he said, adding all the four men travelling in the car were maimed, one of them critically. The insurgency against Indian rule has left more than 47,000 people dead since it erupted in 1989, according to an official count. |
