#5 One must wonder what approval authority is required for artillery fire? Yes, there is required approval. Fortunately it hasn't had to go above in-theater, as it has in the past. |

#1 As had the B-52, the A-10, and the F-16. Any aircraft that has some loiter time and can carry smart bombs is proving its worth in Afghanistan. |
