| #2 he learnt contempt for the media (and hence the public's right to know) in Australia where there is limited media freedom and where this kind of thing is routine. in Australia there would be no scandal and he would not be sacked. His flunkies would call the chief of staff and complain about the poor reporter who would then be sacked instead. |
