| Severodvinsk today witnesses the launching of the second strategic nuclear-powered submarine of the fourth generation - Alexander Nevsky. The lead ship – Yuri Dolgoruky – is currently being tested. The Ministry of Defense plans to build a minimum of eight Borei- class missile cruisers. They are designed to become the fundamental component of the marine strategic nuclear forces of Russia. |
