MISSAN / Aswat al-Iraq: A total of 35 wanted men were arrested on Wednesday in north and east of Amara, director of Missan police information department.“Policemen launched on Wednesday a security operation in al-Kahlaa district, east of Amara, where they arrested eight wanted men,” Ghassan Hamoudi told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“Another a police force arrested 27 wanted men in Ali al-Gharbi district, north of Amara,” he added.
Amara, the capital of Missan, lies 390 km south of Baghdad.
