![]() The IED was made of about 15kg of explosives packed into a fire extinguisher and was detonated by mobile phone in front of a highway department office in Narathiwat province on Wednesday. Three government officials and four villagers were injured in the blast, which blew the roof right of off the car. In neighbouring Yala province, suspected Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva said the latest violence wouldn't change his government's plan to cancel emergency rule in a small part of the far south as a test case for the rest of the region. "We will look at it area by area and take the general situation into consideration," he told reporters. |
