Seven dead were found in a mass grave near Lerdo, Durango, according to Mexican news reports.
The find was made by a laborer out walking at ejido Los Angeles in the Lerdo municipality Wednesday.
Four separate sites contained the bodies.
The remains are said to be at least a year old and most of the victims had been shot. The dead were said to have been found dressed in winter clothes.
Lerdo is part of the metropolitan area that includes Torreon, Coahuila and Gomez Palacio, Durango.
