| Four wounded in Mosul blast |

| NINEWA / Aswat al-Iraq: An Iraqi army officer in the rank of lieutenant and three others, including a soldier, were wounded in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in eastern Mosul city on Sunday, a local police source said. “An IED went off just as an army patrol was passing by in the al-Maliya neighborhood, eastern Mosul, leaving two patrolmen, including an officer in the rank of lieutenant, and two civilians near the blast scene wounded,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency. “The wounded were rushed to the nearby al-Salam Hospital for treatment,” he added, not giving more information about the incident. |
