| Policeman killed, 4 wounded in Baghdad blast |

| BAGHDAD: A policeman was killed and four others wounded in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in southwestern Baghdad on Saturday, a local security source said. “An IED went off near a police patrol in al-Bayyaa area, southwestern Baghdad, today (Jan. 15), leaving a policeman killed and four others, including civilian who happened to be near the blast site, wounded,” the source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency. |
