| #3 Wow, lefty dicks must be hard at the thought of finally being able to appease another nation. Of course, that only works when the end state is everyone bowing to China. Funny, I think the lefties would be OK with that, too. There is no concept of "co-equals" in Chinese culture. |

| #1 If you want to get a taste of how truely unhinged people are about the US go read the comments following the essay. The "9/11 was an inside job" or "9/11 was suspicious" garbage, the "1 millon civialians killed by US in Iraq" lie, and oh yeah the US killed 6 million civilains in Vietnam lie, are there to read. They mostly come from one nut but others agree directly or indirectly with him. Thank you US news and entertainment media for encouraging these smears against the US. As to the essay's point as to handling China, it puts way to much responsibility on others and not enough on China. Playing weak does not help when dealing with potentially aggressive nations. Maybe if we contain China for awhile it will become more "Confucian" than Communist. However, Imperial China was not a peaceful place. It may not have sought to expand like Europe did but it worked hard to control its region. That has Japan, Phillipines, etc, nervous and wary. |
