| Australian Hospital evacuated after package found |

| THE bomb squad has been called to the Royal Hobart Hospital after a suspect package was left in the building's foyer. The entire C block of the hospital has been evacuated, with more than 150 patients and staff out on Liverpool and Argyle streets. There are unconfirmed reports that police are treating the event as a bomb threat. Patients arriving at the hospital are reportedly being turned away and doctors are also being denied access. Police have blocked off Liverpool St between Campbell and Argyle streets, with traffic being diverted. More to come |
