Govt to Seek New Ways to Foil Suicide Attacks

[Tolo News] Afghan government is looking into new tactics to thwart suicide kabooms in the country, President Karzai's Spokesperson said Monday.

At a presser President Karzai's Spokesman Wahid Omar said Islamic fascisti have intensified suicide kabooms mainly to showcase that Afghan cops are weak.

Afghan cops are expected to start taking security lead in areas where the Taliban have the minimum influence and activity.

Mr Omar called on the Islamic fascisti to stop using civilians as shields in their attacks.

Taliban have recently begun to attack government buildings and some civilian locations in a commando-like suicide kabooms. Taliban-led attacks mostly claim civilian lives.

For a quick end to the attacks, the international community should target main sanctuaries of forces of Evil located beyond the Afghan borders, officials said.

"Anytime the government and people talk about preparations to undertake responsibility for security, the enemies of Afghanistan make efforts to show off power and change people's perception about government gains," Mr Omar said.

Presently Afghan army numbers at more than 174,000 and it is expected to peak at 200,000 by the end of 2011.
