Religion of Peace in Britain
2011-02-22

Akmol Hussein, 26, Sheikh Rashid, 27, Azad Hussain, 25, and Simon Alam, 19, attacked Gary Smith with a Stanley knife, an iron rod and a block of cement because they did not approve of him teaching religion to Muslim girls.
Such a peaceful and tolerant religion.
Detectives made secret recordings of the gang's plot to attack Mr Smith prior to the brutal assault.
Too bad they couldn't actually DO anything until after the poor guy got hurt.
The four now face a jail sentence.
30 days? Or 6 months with parole after 30 days?

#3  Deacon Blues, NPR may have reported that, but the jury and the community had their own opinions, as has been clear from the comments on the newspaper's website. "Mo" Hassan fooled nobody except himself, and is not going to have an easy time of it:

During a Nov. 17 appearance before Franczyk, he claimed that up to 16 "white Nazi" guards attacked him and left him fearing that he would be killed, with his death described to the public as another jail suicide.

Two days later, Erie County Holding Center officials lodged the misdemeanor harassment charge claiming Hassan had become verbally and physically assaultive to a holding center guard during a mid-evening altercation.

In addition to the life term Franczyk could impose, Hassan could get up to another year behind bars in the misdemeanor case.

Of course, that's Buffalo, NY -- very different from Britain.

#2  But, but, but David Koresh was an evil cult leader and religious nut job. Go figure.

#1  The scumbag who started the Muslim TV show to educate people about Islam and murdered his wife and then cut her head off was convicted yesterday. It had nothing to do with religion but was just simple domestic violence according to NPR.
