Russia warns fanatics may rule Arab world |
2011-02-24 |
[The Nation (Nairobi)] Russia on Tuesday sounded the alarm over the unrest sweeping the Middle East, saying the revolts risked bringing Islamist fanatics to power and breaking up Arab states into "little pieces". Striking a strong note of discord with Western sympathy for the protestors demonstrating against dictatorial regimes across the Arab world, President Dmitry Medvedev warned that the events could also impact Russia itself. |

#6 The money to support Jihad comes from the infidel world. The fanaticism to support Jihad comes from Islam. |

#5 At a minimum much of the money and support for fanaticism comes from the both the Sunni and Shia world--that's most of the muslim world. |

#4 The French and the Russians have much better intelligence than the defanged CIA. The French make no bones about spying on their own citizens and have an excellent domestic intelligence operation. We all know the Russians are on top of domestic intelligence. When the French are out there making pronouncements about the threat present in the Middle East and then you have the real tough guys with some of the best intell in the world saying that this current wave of demonstrations is a clear threat to western civilization, it is time to sit up and listen. So Barack ole buddy, its time to put down the law suits on gays in the military and stop ramble rousing with the lefties in Wisconsin and FREAKING DO SOMETHING about terrorism. Memo to DOJ: get out of the terrorism business, it is not a law enforcement issue and you don't seem to have the stomach for the kinds of dirty work necessary to keep a lid on that kind of behavior. I am afraid the US stance on all of these riots etc., inspite of how much I loathe and dispise Saleh and Qadaffi, are symptomatic of a nasty strain of fanaticism, has let the djinni out of the bottle on this current wave of protest. Machievelli said that "to ignore discord at your convenience now means war at your inconvenience later" I know I made a hash of the quote but I have the gist of it right. "Good men sleep well at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf" |
