| Accusations US Military Using Psy-Ops on Congressmen |

| "My job in psy-ops is to play with people's heads, to get the enemy to behave the way we want them to behave," says LTC Michael Holmes, the leader of the Information Operations unit at Camp Eggers in Kabul, who received an official reprimand after bucking orders. "I'm prohibited from doing that to our own people. When you ask me to try to use these skills on senators and congressman, you're crossing a line." This Rolling Stone article alleges the Kabul IO unit was pressured to use its trickery on visiting senators and VIPs who met with LTG William Caldwell. |

| #1 Well, it appears that the "Fifth Column" has managed to orchestrate another "own goal" by an American General Officer. The Taliban should be very pleased. It is their equivalent to "drone zapping" the opposition. Instead of deploying PSYOPS teams against Senators, military commanders might want to try deploying sniper teams against Rolling Stone journalists. 'No way that America's foaming leftists will allow Caldwell to survive this one. |
