#5 "Islam is peace." When I visited East Berlin in the early 80s one on the prominent party slogans of billboards was 'Sozialismus und Frieden sind wesensgleich!' ('Socialism (i.e. Soviet Communism) and peace are essentially the same!'). The implication was, of course, that opposition to Soviet Communism was equal to warmongering. What was Bush trying to tell us about non-Muslims here? |

The ROP meme-pushers were active then, at the beginning of the formal inauguration of the Jihad. If 9/11 didn't kill that meme, nothing will, ever. |

| #2 I didn't need to read any more after that - game over. No. Not just yet. There are those like Rep. Allen West (R-Fla) that understand the truth. And these dinosaur slaves to PC are going to be pushed out soon. Will it be too late, I don't know. But everyone can help by gently educating anyone that will listen. Arm yourself with the facts, and resources to point folks to, and get busy. I have been education friends, family and coworkers for quite sometime now. You have to start gently and not pile too much on them at once. | #1 No matter how many Muslim gunmen shout “Allahu akbar” as they open fire on non-Muslims, at this point the dogmatic lines have been drawn: analysts in the top military and intelligence posts in the U.S. and Europe understand that Islam is a religion of peace that has been hijacked by a tiny minority of extremists, and they have been taught to understand that that fact somehow frees them from the obligation of understanding the enemy’s belief-system and formulating effective ways to combat it. I didn't need to read any more after that - game over. |
