| Suspect admits targeting US soldiers |

| A man arrested on suspicion of killing two US airmen at Frankfurt Airport yesterday has confessed to targeting US military members, according to a German security official today. A Pentagon spokesperson said that the four military men involved in yesterday's shooting were en route from their base in Britain to Afghanistan. The Pentagon also said that one of the key aspects of the investigation into yesterday's shooting is whether the shooter acted alone or had assistance. German authorities say their investigation has so far concluded that he acted alone, but added that "there are signs that this is about a radicalised Muslim". Arid Uka's neighbours in Frankfurt said they were shocked at the incident and described him as someone who kept to himself, but didn't seem unfriendly. Ah, a "loner", a "quiet man"...
