Hillary Clinton: Fedup With Obama
2011-03-17
Obama's indecision on Libya has pushed Clinton over the edge

Fed up with a president "who can't make his mind up" as Libyan rebels are on the brink of defeat, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is looking to the exits.

At the tail end of her mission to bolster the Libyan opposition, which has suffered days of losses to Col. Moammar Gadhafi's forces, Clinton announced that she's done with Obama after 2012 -- even if he wins again.
After 2012? The usual way is to hand the president a letter of resignation effective immediately.
"Obviously, she's not happy with dealing with a president who can't decide if today is Tuesday or Wednesday, who can't make his mind up," a Clinton insider told The Daily. "She's exhausted, tired."
He just needs a vacation in Rio this weekend to clear his mind, don't you know.

#12  Final line of the linked article:

While the stakes in Libya could not be higher, the insider said that something far more domestic was on Clinton’s mind after she leaves the State Department: “She wants to be a grandmother more than anything."

#11  Well, it's not like he's making things much better when he's off the course.

- you have more faith than I.

#8  Who knows, maybe the best strategy is to do this good cop-bad cop crap. With Bahrain, Egypt, Yemen, Tunisia, and just about every Arab state on edge there's lots to consider on timing.

But when it comes down to basics, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. And these are men trying to get out from the boot of a brutal rich dictator.

#7  His "jokes" about Hillary on Saturday night are outrageous and beyond insulting. Like she's just the little wifey having a snit. He just signed his own death warrant, politically speaking.

I've said all along I didn't think he'd finish a full term, and if Hillary has anything to say about, he won't. Every day he demonstrates to Clintonites and Republicans that he is more loathesome than they are to each other. If they get together and decide to impeach him, he's toast. Never thought I'd pull for Hillary, but this jackass has got to go.

#6  Well, I think he needs a new campaign motto, since Hope&Change is no longer operative. My suggestion is "Two Under Par!"

#5  I think that all of us knew this moment was coming.

Everyone knew Obama wasn't qualified to be president and the media ran cover for him.

Now, there is no hiding the fact that he, Obama, was the wrong choice by the Democratic Party and the wrong choice by the American people.

I wonder what kind of spin Chris Matthews is putting on Obama's golf with Libya and Japan?

If Bush had sat around for a month on Libya, the press would have organized a riot at 1600 Pennsylvania. If Bush had gone to play golf with Japan coming apart, the media would have brought the Sheehan woman out of mothballs and had a press conference with her.

Does the media think they can run cover for him in the next election?

#4  At the tail end of her

That's certainly an image I didn't need.

Oh wait, I get it - "her" modifies "mission". Phew, that was close.

#3  She did announce her exit before primary season. I'm sensing a testing the waters moment.

#1  It took her a little over two years. She may be a slow learner. The rest of us were fed up with him before his coronation.
