[Arab News] Former skipper of Pakistain's cricket team Imran Khan ... who isn't your heaviest-duty thinker, maybe not even among the top five... who also heads the Tehrik-e-Insaf ...a political party in Pakistan. PTI was founded by former Pakistani cricket captain and philanthropist Imran Khan. The party's slogan is Justice, Humanity and Self Esteem, each of which is open to widely divergent interpretations.... party on Friday announced a three-day blockade of NATO supply lines to express his party's protest against drone attacks in Pakistain and the disrespect shown by Christian preacher Terry Jones toward Islam's holy book. Khan was addressing a large public rally at Qurtaba Chowk in Lahore which was attended by an estimated 20,000 people. Khan said his party workers will stage sit-in protests at several points to block NATO's supply routes and will even stage sit-ins in the US.
In Bloody Karachi, Beautiful Downtown Peshawar, Quetta, Sukkar, Lahore and Islamabad, similar protest rallies were staged by right-wing parties against the US pastor. | |

#2 Imran Khans party to block NATO supplies (translation) "Pay me!" What do you bet we can buy this guy? I say buy someone close to the family too. And his soup taster as well. Is the ENTIRE CIA just mowing their lawns in Fairfax these days, or what? What are we paying for from the CIA? Are they all busy waxing and buffing Obama's balls? I mean, do we still have an entire office of nasty guys who slowly push sharpened pencils into your optic apertures or dont we? Did they fire everybody with a wet towel, a roll of duct tape and a bucket of water or are some still on the payroll.? |

#1 I can think of lots of places in the US where a few dozen Pakistanis having a sit-in, or pray-in would be highly entertaining and get *lots* of publicity. Like major airports; Arlington National Cemetery, after declaring it "Muslim land"; in front of the White House; on the steps of the Supreme Court; the Pentagon; etc. Oh, heck yeah. |
