| [Pak Daily Times] Insurgents have killed a local police official in northern Afghanistan, where the Taliban has been intensifying attacks, especially against those aligned with the government. Governor Sayed Anwar Rahmati of Sari Pul province says the police chief of Ghosfandi district was killed around noon Friday.
