BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: Unknown gunmen assassinated today a colonel works at the Ministry of Defense, security sources said today. The killing took place with guns equipped with silencers.
The colonel, Ayad Ali Akbar, was the director of vital establishments at the ministry.
