MUZAFFARABAD: Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani said on Monday that regional peace cannot be guaranteed until the resolution of Kashmir issue, urging the worldÂ’s peace loving nations to come forward to resolve the issue that has jeopardised the peace efforts in the region.
Peace won't be guaranteed afterwards, either... | “Unless this core issue is resolved, the dream of peace and harmony in the region cannot come true,” said the prime minister after inaugurating a two-day national conference on Kashmir, organised by the Azad Jammu and Kashmir University.
The premier highlighted the need for acknowledging KashmirisÂ’ rights to self-determination in accordance with the United Nations resolutions. He said that no significant development could take place in South Asia unless the resolution of this core issue.
He then blabbered on for a while about the usual stuff. |
