| Suicide bomb kills four at Peshawar police station |

| A suicide car bomb attack on a police station in Peshawar has killed four people and has left 22 others injured. The power of the blast flattened the building. Emergency workers are searching for survivors and bodies in the rubble. The building was near Pakistani army facilities and the US consulate. Pakistani Talibunnies have taken credit for the attack. "It was a huge blast which completely destroyed the three-storey building," said Liaqat Ali Khan, chief of police in Peshawar. The building housed the police's criminal investigation department. A Talibunny spokesman said the attacks would continue until US drone strikes and Pakistani military operations have been stopped. "We will further step up these attacks to avenge Osama Bin Laden's martyrdom," said Ehsanullah Ehsan. |
