ANP leader among three killed in Swat attack |

[Pak Daily Times] Matta tehsil Awami National Party (ANP) President Muzaffar Ali Khan along with a policeman and a guest were killed when faceless myrmidons attacked his hujra with hand grenades and automatic weapons on Saturday. According to police, the men first attacked the hujra of Muzaffar Ali Khan with hand grenades and then opened fire on people present in the hujra. As a result, Khan, a police constable, Abdullah and a guest Sher Rehman, a resident of Shah Dheri, were killed on the spot while another policeman Zamin Zada sustained injuries. The bodies and the injured were shifted to the Matta Civil Hospital. Security forces cordoned off the area and started a search operation This was the first fatal incident in a year since peace had been restored in the area. Matta police has started the paperwork but haven't done much else against the unidentified attackers. |
