#2 An attempt by Assad to divert attention from what's going on in Syria. If one Syrian is killed trying to bust Israel's borders, there is all kinds of hell to pay. If dozens or hundreds of protesters are killed in Syria, little is said. There is a double standard here in the media as well as in the Arab world. But then this is no surprise. |
