BAGHDAD -- Two American soldiers were killed in northern Iraq on Sunday, the US military said, making this month the deadliest for American personnel in more than two years.'Two US service members were killed today while conducting operations in northern Iraq,' the military said in a statement.
Since June 1, 11 US soldiers have been killed in Iraq -- making it the deadliest since May 2009.
