| Hizbullah Hails 'Huge Victory' in Libya |

| [An Nahar] Hizbullah on Monday hailed the "huge victory" of rebels who took control of most of the Libyan capital in their fight against Moammar Qadaffy's ...a proud Arab institution for 42 years... rule. "Hizbullah congratulates the Libyan people and their revolutionaries for this huge victory against the tyrant (Qadaffy) after a long struggle and great sacrifice," Hizbullah said in a statement. "We hope that this victory will be final and that a just state will emerge soon to achieve the aspirations and hopes of the people who have suffered a long time," it added. |

| #3 Ditto IRAN, as per HURRIYET DAILY NEWS. BAHRAIN + OMAN also have given formal diploamtic recognition to the Rebels. OTOH SAUDI ARABIA > As EL HEFE' = BIG ENCHILADA GOVT-ARMY OF THE GCC appears to still be withholding its formal recognition of the anti-Gaddafi Libyuhn Rebs for a later date. IMO read, THE KSA IS WATCHIN' + OBSERVIN' THE SITUATION. * Also from HURRIYET DAILY NEWS > GADDAFI REGIME ENDS AS TURKEY GIVES LIBYA NATO'S VOW [NATO to remain in Libya until security is fully restored]. | #2 Hizbullah has a particular gripe against Mummar because back in the late 70s, Mummar invited a high level Shiite (Musa al Sadr) to visit Libya and then executed the guy. |
