| [Yemen Post] Abul al-Ganadi, Yemen's government senior front man announced today at a presser that President-for-Life Saleh ... exemplifying the Arab's propensity to combine brutality with incompetence... had agreed to allow his Vice-President to form a unity government according to the directives enounced in the GCC brokered power-transfer proposal. The new appointed government would be sworn in by Hadi and not by Saleh. Al-Ganadi confirmed that the regime was willing to comply with all the 2014 UN Security Council resolution's terms stressing that all parties needed to be in Yemen for all to commit fully to the agreement, calling on the Opposition members to come back from their visit abroad. The front man further accused dissident troops loyal to General Mohsen of being responsible for the death of more than 14 people in Taiz this Sunday, maintaining that the militias were trying to throw the blame onto the government to discredit it on the international community's arena. In Sana'a, the capital, tens of thousands of protesters manifested their anger, condemning the ongoing crackdown on the southern city of Taiz, demanding that the president be transferred to the ICC for his crimes. Across the nation, solidarity marches were staged, as Yemeni decided to stand against tyranny as one, united in their grief and anger. |
