At least two coppers were killed and another sustained injuries when gunnies ambushed them here in the Wali Jaith area of the city on Monday.Police officials said that unknown gunnies riding bike opened indiscriminate fire at a police van in the precincts of New Sariab cop shoppe, killing an officer on the spot and leaving two others critically injured.
Later, police officer ASI Abdul Qayum died while he was being transported to the hospital. The condition of the other injured coppers was also stated to be critical.
