FT Hood Massacre Killer Trial Could Be Delayed Due to Beard
2012-06-19
FORT HOOD -- A military judge will hear arguments Tuesday on whether to delay the trial of an Army psychiatrist charged in the fatal 2009 shooting rampage at Fort Hood in Texas.

The judge postponed Maj. Nidal Hasan's pre-trial hearing earlier this month because the defendant had grown a beard, ...
The real reason is to hold the Court Martial when they know a President is in the Oval office who will NOT prevent Hassan from being summarily executed by a full firing squad. In favor of the delay as long as conditions become right for that day to be assured.

#7  "and because he has a premonition he will die soon"

Not soon enough.

#6  Lead defense attorney Lt. Col. Kris Poppe says Hasan grew the beard as a “deeply sincere” expression of his Islamic faith and because he has a premonition he will die soon.

That should happen soon.

#4  The firing squad is unlike not because of the President but the Military Court of Appeals which like its civilian counterpart disregards the Constitution that stipulates that with due process one may be deprived of life.

As amended -

VII - "..nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.."

XIV - "...nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.."

Because, you know, it's a living breathing document [disregarding the Article V process].

#1  And so it begins.

While he is yet confined and not tried, that worthless murdering piece of kak is still a commissioned officer in the United States Army. As such he is subject to the USMJ and the grooming strandards of the Army. So-called relaxed grooming standards do not apply to officers in pre-trial confinement.

Give the murdering bastid a direct order to immediately repair. If he refuses, he has disobeyed a direct order and can be then be punished via Article-15 and forteiture of pay and as a prisoner in pre-trail confinement, he can be forceably groomed, deloused, bathed, clothed, medicated, whatever is necessary.
