Man with dual nationality seeks protection against kidnappers
2012-07-10
[Dawn] A Canadian national of Pak origin, who was released by kidnappers after payment of ransom money, has demanded of the government to provide him security as the kidnappers are threatening him again after arrest of their associates.

Speaking at a presser at Chakdara press club here on Sunday, Fahimuddin said that he had returned to his hometown Naway Kalay, Asbanr, from Canada two months ago. He said that he was kidnapped by some people at gunpoint near Garhi Pul, Batkhela.

"I was taken to Dargai where kidnappers made me unconscious," he said, adding that he was kept in chains for 11 days during which the gang, including women, demanded Rs10 million ransom. Mr Fahim said that he was thrown at Sakhakot, Malakand Agency, the other day after his family paid Rs965,000 to the kidnappers.

He said that the place where he was chained was situated near the main Malakand-Mardan GT road, as he could listen to voices of people from nearby hotels. He said that four accused, including a woman, had been placed in long-term storage
... anything you say can and will be used against you, whether you say it or not...
on his report, while three other accused -- Asad, Asim and Shah Wazir -- had gone underground and were pressurising him for withdrawal of the case against them.

He demanded of the government to provide him security against the alleged kidnappers.

#1  Fred, you put this in today to set me off, didn't you. Won't work. Caught a 20 pound salmon yesterday and the Roughriders won. So your cunning plan won't work.

I am now arranging to send horse-like woman over to be this dudes personal body guard. We will not provide a saddle, since he prefers chains
