(Sh. M. Network)-Somalia's Islamist cut-throats of Al shabab are reportedly burnt trucks carrying tones of popular narcotic leaves known as Khat in the port town of Kismayo, situated some 500 kilometers(310 mils) south of Mogadishu. Reports from the rebel-held strategic port town of Kismayo, the quiet provincial capital of Lower Jubbaregion say that the cut-throats set a blaze on the vans ferrying Khat owned by traders who were seeking to bring Khat into the town. Witnesses said that Al shabab cut-throats have taken all Khat dealers into custody in the city and promised to put them on beturbanned goon-owned courts in the region.

#3 Khat is reportedly so popular in Yemen that 40% of the water is used to grow it, greatly diminishing the underground aquifers needed for food agriculture. |

#2 Destroy the cocaine as well. "Mood disorders" could result should Chicago politicians get hold of that stuff. |

#1 Yeah, interesting that the stuff never "kaht" on here. I guess today's drug-inclined American youth would rather have synth-a-juana or bath salts. |
