| Blast target Somali army in Baidoa town, 5 injured |

| (Sh. M. Network)-A powerful blast targeted Somali government troops in Baidoa town, seriously maimed at least five people, Witnesses said on Sunday. Locals near the site of the kaboom told Shabelle Media via phone that unknown assailants have thrown a hand grenade into an army base in Baidoa, wounding five soldiers, mostly seriously. The victimized government soldiers were immediately rushed to a hospital in the town for a medical treatment. Baidoa, 250 kilometers North-west Mogadishu is the third largest city inSomalia, and it has been relatively stable since Æthiopian and Somali troops captured from Al shabab cut-throats early this year. |
