#5  Blaming movies misses the mark and its as bad as blaming the teaparty in my opinion.

We've raised a generation or two of egotists so when they go crazy they make a scene. Movies have little to do with it. Crazy is crazy.

Better off finding a way to spot those in need.

#4  I do not agree. Someone goes goofy like that, they will find the inspiration.

That being said, I also totally agree. Nobody really cares what the guy from...what was that movie, not the one where he rapes the Vietnamese gal, the movie before, so long ago.

Ultraviolence as entertainment is as old as entertainment. And whoever that dumbstick was who thinks we need a Minority Report type police force, did you see the danged movie, it was about not having trial-less pre-crime arrests you kdh#shi dolt.

A firearm is a tool, and like a specolli boat, is only as good or as bad as the person using it.

Would it be somehow better if carrotblot had dressed as an UmpaLoompa wearing a hockey mask and sporting a chainsaw?

#3  Well, sadomasochism sold well in Rome even before the ornate and august coliseums were constructed. Hollyweird just keeps ratcheting up what sells and what is in demand. They sell effects and imagery, not story. Orwell left out keeping the Proles sedated with just sex and alcohol by not including violent entertainment.

#2  Glamorizing mayhem on the silver screen holds little allure for those have survived the real deal, or scraped someone eles's intestines from their protective eyewear and body armor. Strange is it not, the things which we willingly fill our minds?

#1  Tactics, gentlemen, tactics.

You and your crowd all too often are in the spotlight to rip the 2d Amendment rights of your fellow citizens. Be prepared to have your 1st Amendment rights so 'restricted' as well for without the 2d, there'll be no 1st.
