| #10 I believe one of the boasts of God to Israel during the invasion of Caanan was that He didn't really NEED them to flush the occupants of the land: Joshua reminded them of some Caananite kings who had been totally routed by hornets sent from God. Bees. Not quite the same species, but the same idea. I imagine the same target as well (with regard to attitude toward Israel, that is). |
