Egyptian Capital Hit By Rash Of Blackouts |

A massive blackout hit many parts of the Egyptian capital on Thursday, briefly halting traffic on much of its crowded subway and delaying the start of trading on the stock exchange. Â Egypt has been beset by frequent power outages across the country since the hot summer months began. The blackouts, together with water cuts, have enraged Egyptians, sending many to the streets to protest. |

#1 Foreign aid won't be coming. The Sauds don't like the MB's brand of creeping Islamic totalitarianism. The Euros are broke. The Russians might, but they have Syria to deal with. So do the Iranians. There's no assets of note there for the Chinese (the Egyptians won't give up any aspect to running the canal). The White House would love to, but there's an election coming up... Does not bode well for the Muslim Broderbund. |
