DNC Expected to Affect Cancer Patients with center closure for event |
2012-08-22 |
![]() On Tuesday, September 4th, the DNC will officially kick off. Tens of thousands from around the world will head to the Queen City and there's no secret, the convention will have a major impact locally, including on people battling cancer. Democrats snivel and whine that voters are disenfranchised because they have to drive a couple of miles to get photo ID so they can legally vote. Not a peep from them about sick patients risking their lives to get chemo treatments while they party it up. For shame. Can you imagine the firestorm this would create if you substituted "RNC" in lieu DNC? The networks would have a field day exploiting these folks and Republicans would be accused of wanting people to die. Well, that's old hat, but you get the point. I guess the DNC wants to show Romney how to kill cancer patients. Another reason I think the party conventions are a huge waste of time and money and too much of an inconvenience. |
