| Surrey Police ordered villagers living within two streets of the mock-Tudor house to leave amid "concerns around items" found at the property. Authorities declined to say what the items were but bomb squad officials and army officers were seen arriving at the home just before 10am. A Royal Logistics Corps bomb disposal van has arrived at the scene. The road outside the home has been closed and screens have been erected to block the view of the house. Members of the media were also moved back around 200 yards while other neighbours were prevented from returning to their homes as the corden was extended. Several army officers were seen deep in conversation with officers at the scene. |
