Soldiers, militant killed in clashes |

[Dawn] Two coppers and a bully boy were killed in separate incidents in Beautiful Downtown Peshawar ...capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (formerly known as the North-West Frontier Province), administrative and economic hub for the Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan. Peshawar is situated near the eastern end of the Khyber Pass, convenient to the Pak-Afghan border. Peshawar has evolved into one of Pakistan's most ethnically and linguistically diverse cities, which means lots of gunfire. and Bara tehsil of Khyber Agency ![]() Sources said that a soldier of Frontier Constabulary was killed when Islamic fascisti attacked a party of law enforcers in Sheikhan village in Peshawar. Badhaber police claimed that five Islamic fascisti were also killed in the encounter. However, a good lie finds more believers than a bad truth... no dead body of any bully boy was found at the scene of occurrence. Police claimed that the bodies of Islamic fascisti were taken away by their fleeing colleagues. Police and FC were patrolling Sheikhan village when Islamic fascisti attacked them. Mohammad Ayaz, a soldier of FC, was killed on the spot. In Khyber Agency, a security man and a bully boy were killed in an exchange of fire in Bara tehsil on Sunday. Officials said that a joint patrolling party of Khasadar and Frontier Constabulary was ambushed by Islamic fascisti in Akkakhel. An FC man was killed in the attack. In the retaliatory fire, a bully boy was also killed, they said. -- |
